A thought-provoking discussion exploring identity, storytelling and women’s creative voices through making.
Join artist and facilitator Sophie Gresswell in conversation with Hardwick Hall’s curator Liz Waring for a relaxed and thought-provoking discussion exploring identity, storytelling and women’s creative voices through making.
Set against the backdrop of Hardwick Hall, the conversation will weave together contemporary artistic practice with the Hall’s historic textiles, portraiture and collections, exploring how women have used materials, symbolism and craft to express power, identity and personal narratives across generations.
Expect an open and engaging conversation touching on female craftsmanship, myth, portraiture and the hidden stories carried through making.
Spaces are limited, booking required via the add-on tickets on the Festival Eventbrite listing.
