If you could create a portal to another world, where might it take you?
Anisha Parmar, Khadijah Carberry & Sophie Gresswell
2pm–4pm | Bookable
Join jewellery designer Anisha Parmar, Generous Waste founder Khadijah Carberry and artist and poet Sophie Gresswell for a playful and reflective making workshop exploring identity, connection and how we move between past, present and future.
Bringing together three very different creative practices, Anisha, Khadijah and Sophie will guide you through creating your own bespoke three-dimensional collage.
Draw on Anisha's eye for jewellery and adornment, Khadijah's work with sustainable materials and mapping, and Sophie's love of words and storytelling as you layer materials, maps, jewellery and words.
Your finished portal will be completely your own – filled with personal meaning and offering a physical and visual reminder of who you are, the stories you carry and the different worlds you move between.
This workshop follows Portals to Other Worlds Talk, a conversation between the three artists taking place at 1pm.
