Join artist Abigail Wasite for an introduction to natural dye!

We shall use the gathered plant matter from the mornings Natural Dye walk to create dye in this workshop. Abigail will unpack the foundational steps to creating your dye pot and preparing your yarn.

This is a hands-on workshop aimed at beginners looking to grasp introductory steps on natural dying. During the workshop Abigail will explain; mordants, winding,  drying, cooking process and which tools to use. All materials are provided.

Booking is essential. Attendees need to wear sturdy shoes and appropriate clothes (including aprons) as this will be a messy workshop and dyes will stain clothing.

Spaces are limited, booking required via the add-on tickets on the Festival Eventbrite listing.

Part of the Women Who Make Festival at Hardwick Hall.
