Attendees of the Derbyshire Makes History “Heritage Market Place” can join in creative workshops celebrating Derbyshire’s innovators - past and present - on board Derbyshire’s travelling makerspace.

As part of The Makory Tour, this visit to Great British Car Journey, Ambergate, will offer attendees of the Derbyshire Makes History “Heritage Market Place” hands-on making activities inspired by Derbyshire’s innovators and heritage of creativity.

The Makory will host artist-led workshops, shaped by local histories, materials and landscapes, combining both heritage craft and playful, contemporary making. Visitors are invited to step on board and take part.

You will also have the opportunity to explore a touring exhibition, connecting local heritage, making and innovation.

Each Makory stop offers a unique experience, shaped by its surroundings and the people who join in.

Delivered by Local, in partnership Derby Museum and hosted by Arts Derbyshire and The Great British Car Journey.
