New Funding Available for Derbyshire Heritage Organisations

Derbyshire Makes is an ambitious county-wide programme celebrating the past, present and future of making.  Derbyshire Makes History is set up to complement the wider three-year Derbyshire Makes programme, with an exclusive heritage focus, which is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, to champion and support the heritage sector.

Over £90,000 of funding now available, to fund a range of activities over the next 18 month, which is specifically targeted at smaller, less resourced Derbyshire heritage organisations. The attached survey outlines some of the funding available.

We have designed the survey to:

1. Help identify which organisations are interested in taking part.

2. Help identify sector skills and training needs, so we can plan appropriately.

We are keen for as many Derbyshire heritage organisations to take part and benefit from the funding.

How to take part

Please complete the Derbyshire Makes History – Heritage Sector Survey by 6th February 2026.
