Derbyshire businesses and industry professionals are invited to get involved in STEAM into ACTION: Derbyshire Makes Our Future.
Could you help young people discover where creativity, design and manufacturing could take them?
As part of the STEAM into ACTION Schools’ Challenge 2026–27, we're looking for businesses and industry professionals from across Derbyshire to take part in Derbyshire Makes Our Future.
The project will connect participating schools with people working in design and manufacturing, giving children and young people aged 8–16 the opportunity to hear from those using creativity and creative thinking in their careers.
By sharing your experience, you could help young people discover different roles and routes into industry, understand the skills valued in the workplace and see how their own ideas and creativity could connect with future possibilities.
Businesses and professionals taking part will be matched with a participating school, with opportunities to get involved during October–December 2026 and further engagement in spring 2027.
