Inspired by folklore and nature
In the stunning surroundings of Cromford Mills, people gathered to find out about The Crooker with storytellers from Adverse Camber, made wooden boats and took part in a boat race, made giant leaf and fish puppets with Babbling Vagabonds, created Romany gypsy flowers, sang in the parade around the courtyard with a recycled River Goddess created with Anna Roebuck and Fleet Arts, and even made carrot whistles with artist Nettie Reddish.
On the Makory bus, visitors got crafting with Creeping Toad and in the School Room, they took part in Dare to Dream workshops.
Programmed by The Arkwright Society.
