3pm–3.30pm | Drop in

Take a moment to pause and listen as author and Fashion Revolution co-founder Carry Somers shares selected passages from her book The Nature of Fashion.

Part travelogue, part cultural history, the book journeys across landscapes and centuries, tracing the roots of plant fibres and dyes and uncovering the connections between fashion and the natural world.

In this intimate afternoon reading, hear some of those stories in Carry's own voice and discover the people, plants, landscapes and ideas woven through the book.

A chance to slow down in the middle of the festival, listen and perhaps see the things we wear – and where they come from – through a different lens.
