Curated by Abigail Wastie, The Ethical Atelier celebrates women manufacturing in the UK – from independent craftswomen and makers to businesses working from field to factory.
Browse fashion, accessories and homeware, meet the women behind the products and discover more about where things come from, how they are made and the skills involved in making them.
Set within the historic surroundings of Masson Mills, The Ethical Atelier connects the site's extraordinary textile past with conversations about the future of fashion and manufacturing.
It is a place to shop, discover, ask questions and start conversations about what it means to make and buy more consciously.

The conversations continue during the festival with two free panel discussions led by Abigail Wastie and featuring women working across UK fashion manufacturing:
2pm–2.30pm | Does UK Fashion Manufacturing Have a Future?
Explore making onshore, sustaining skills and businesses, and what the future could hold for UK-made fashion.
3.30pm–4pm | Does Sexism Still Exist Within UK Fashion Manufacturing?
An all-women panel exploring gender, leadership, working culture and women's experiences within UK fashion manufacturing.

The Women Who Make Festival and The Ethical Atelier are free to attend. Simply drop in and explore throughout the day.
