Celebrate the Well through art, sound & stories
Come and connect with the history, ecology, and creativity of Whitfield Well.
Create a MAKE Room with Glassball Studio and build pallet seats & planters. Then you can take home the planters!
Dr. Tim Campbell-Green will share the site’s history and waterways.
Writer Jane Doyle, from Move More Glossop will lead a nature walk and creative writing sessions inspired by the space.
Matt Ross, who previously worked at the Peak District National Park’s Longdendale Environmental Centre, will be delivering a bio blitz, plant identifier and water dipping activities.
Free, drop-in and all materials, tools and refreshments will be provided.
Derbyshire Makes MAKE Room is partnering with Wilder Whitfield/Friends of Whitfield Rec & Green Spaces, and The Bureau - Move More Glossop.
