A relaxed, story-filled heritage walk blending local history, nature and live music, with space to share your own memories along the way.

Hazel McDowell is an experienced walker, leading local walks for the National Forest and now Derbyshire Makes.

Hazel likes to perform original songs by The Coal Tits, the band she performs with and which relate to the places she leads walks.

This relaxed two and a half mile walk around the town and Eureka Park will focus on the heritage and natural history of the area, looking for relics that are left in the landscape and the unknown workers who made Swadlincote.

Audience participation is encouraged and you are welcome bring your own stories to share as part of this walk.
