Turn old books into something totally new!
Recycle your paper into a beautiful loose-leaf Japanese-bound booklet using decorative paper in a range of gorgeous colours and patterns.
This ancient technique (one of the earliest examples of Japanese bookbinding was used by Buddhist monks in the 8th century) means your booklets open flat, which is quite different to other books. You can learn this technique and do it at home - Hannah has been practising her bookbinding for over 30 years and sits at home, handmaking beautiful books.
Drop-in Book Folding Workshop with Alyson Horton.
Turn old books into something totally new! Learn the art of book folding with Alyson and create your very own paper hedgehog to take home. Choose from three fun styles - itʼs crafty, creative, and helps keep books out of landfill.
