A celebration of community and making
Discover hands-on, fun and accessible free workshops and demos, from pottery and wood turning to letterpress printing and more, alongside a local Makers’ Market, exhibitions, and ‘Swad’s Reet Good Art Trail’ (in partnership with Swadlincote Festival of Words). The programme also deepens the National Forest’s presence in the town centre with a special Forest Makers’ Market and ‘Treading Lightly,’ a unique workshop by artist and shoe designer Sasha Archer exploring how we can reduce our carbon footprint.
