Burton and South Derbyshire College Exhibition - ‘Canopy’

CANOPY is all about collaboration bringing creative minds, diverse perspectives and a shared sense of curiosity.

CANOPY is connected to the college's biannual PHOTO CANOPY exhibition and brings together artists and learners to create work in response to The National Forest. Kosen and BSDC learners worked together challenging assumptions and working across language and cultural differences to create responses that celebrated visible and invisivle layers of the canopy, its textures, structures, rhythms and ecosystems.

Their collective work demonstrates not only the power of interdisciplinary practice but also how global connections can deepen our understanding of local landscapes.
