An interactive digital workshop exploring local mining heritage through film, technology and creative storytelling.
Youth Landscapers invite you to bring local histories to life with digital technology. Kris, Alfie, Jeff and Claire will help you explore artefacts from the local mining community using microscopic filming and photogrammetry.
They will share the process that went into making Cards of Sympathy, a film made in 2025 inspired by a young local miner at the former Rawdon Colliery.
Drop in and have a go, see these techniques in our music videos and chat with us about our perspective on the past, present and future!
Youth Landscapers Collective is a group of young people aged 13-23 from the National Forest area who explore and share the landscape’s industrial past and forest future through creative projects.
