An artistic celebration of birds comes to Norfolk Square
This spring the swift bird will be centre stage in Glossop as its miraculous story is brought to life with puppetry.
Artist and swift enthusiast Deb Pitman has collaborated with puppeteer Fenn Bartels to create 'The Cat and the Swift'. The story of these two very different creatures unfolds as one arrives back in town at the end of their migratory journey to encounter a cushion-dwelling diva.
Join them on Norfolk Square to make a simple swift puppet and see their show about a bird on the wing and the laziest of cats.
Perfect for families, wildlife enthusiasts and fans of puppetry.
Free, drop-in, no advance booking required.
