Event Highlights
Act 1: The Problem with Fast Fashion
Our journey begins with an eye-opening exploration of the fast fashion industry. This segment, featuring the New Mills collection, will shed light on the environmental and ethical issues associated with conventional fashion practices.
Act 2: Slow-Down Solutions
In the second act, we turn our focus to solutions. New Mills Fashion Activistas and members of Crich Community will showcase a diverse range of pre-loved, vintage, upcycled, mended, inherited, and handmade clothing. See how creativity and sustainability intertwine to offer stylish alternatives to fast fashion.
Act 3: Creativity Collection
The final act will feature the Creativity Collection, highlighting innovative designs in sustainable sports apparel, Jasmine’s Scout Challenge outfit, and the inspiring Pledge Dress. These pieces demonstrate the potential of fashion to convey powerful messages and inspire change.
