Dare to Dream invites you to a free, drop-in Sewing Bee in Glossop, exploring creativity, textiles and shared futures.
Join us for the Dare to Dream Sewing Bee at Glossop Market Hall – a welcoming, hands-on creative session where imagination, making and conversation come together.
Open to all ages and experience levels, the Sewing Bee invites you to explore ideas about the future through the simple act of making. Led by Dare to Dream Lead Artist Sue Reddish, alongside guest and Dare to Dream artists, the session offers gentle guidance, creative prompts and space to take part in your own way.
Inspired by Glossop’s rich heritage of textiles and design, you’ll be encouraged to reflect on how materials have long been used to express identity, aspiration and change.
Using reclaimed fabrics and materials, you can create flags, banners and small artworks – each one a personal response to hopes, dreams and futures. Together, these pieces will become part of a growing collective artwork, shared online and brought together in a celebratory finale in 2027.
Drop in, stay for as long as you like, and take part at your own pace.
No experience needed. Materials provided.
